Strong Acid Cation Resins
Strong acid cation resins contain strong acid functional groups like sulfonic acid group (-SO3H), easy to dissociate H+ ions in solution and appear strong acid property. The backbone is styrene series and has gel type & macroporous type strong acid cation resins.

Weak Acid Cation Resins
Weak acid cation resins contain weak acid functional groups like carboxylic acid group (-COOH), easy to dissociate H+ in solution and appear weak acid property. The backbone is styrene series and has gel type & macroporous type weak acid cation resins.
They have a high affinity for H+ ions, easy to regenerate, large exchange capacity, generally contact with organic weak acid and obtain the regeneration of weak acid cation resins.
 Arcrylic acid series weak acid cation exchange resins are widely used in water treatment, electroplating and wastewater treatment, pharmaceutical industry, etc.
There are arcrylic acid series gel and macroporous strong acid cation exchange resins for your option.
It has great physical and chemical properties and is effective for solutions with a pH value ranging from 5 to 14.


Strong Base Anion Resins
Strong base anion resins contain weak acid functional group like quaternary amino group (-NR3OH, where R is a hydrocarbon group), dissociate OH- ions in solution and appear strong base property. The backbone is styrene series and has gel type & macroporous type strong base anion resins.
Resins are colorless to yellowish beads.
Styrene series strong base anion resins are mainly used in pure water and high purity water preparation, sugar solution decolorization, wastewater treatment, radioactive element extraction, etc.
There are styrene series gel and macroporous strong base anion resins for your option.
It has great mechanical and chemical stability and will not be affected by pH value.

 

Weak Base Anion Resins
The Weak Base Anion Exchange Resin with primary, secondary, tertiary amine or mixed amine group as active functional groups show different strengths of alkalinity. Most weak Base Anion Exchange Resins with mixed amine group equiped a extremely high operating capacity with the ability to remove both strong and weak acids from solution.

There are two kinds of weak base anion exchange resins, Gel type and Macroporous type, which have acrylic backbone, styrene backbone or mixed backbone. Weak base anion exchange resins are more chemically stable and higher resistant to organic fouling than strong base anions.

The weak base anion exchange resin is easier to regenerate than the strong base resin, and can be efficiently regenerated with a small amount of sodium hydroxide.

Weak base anion exchange resins are commonly used in pharmaceutical, food engineering, and chemical engineering, such as the removal of mineral acid, organic acids and other organic materials, especially for removal of high molecular weight organic matters from aqueous solutions under low pH condition.

Chelating Resins
Chelating resins are a class of ion exchange resins with reactive functional groups that chelate to metal ions. They have the same bead form and polymer matrix as usual ion exchange resin, and the variation in chelating resins arises from the nature of chelating agents linked into a polymer backbone.
      Chelating resins are almost always used to bind cations, which are found in a big range of metals removal, recovery and enrichment in a dilute solution. Chelating ion exchange resin for brine decalcification in the chlor-alkali industry, the removal of boron(B) from potable water, the recovery of precious metals like: gold(Au), platinum (Pt) ,palladium(Pd),  the removal of heavy metal like: copper(Cu), nickel(Ni), zinc(Zn), manganese(Mn), mercury(Hg) and so on.
